Who we are

danzón is a European consultancy working at the intersection of music, education, and culture. We help institutions, orchestras, and governments create strategies, partnerships, and learning experiences that connect young people to music, and music to the world around them.

With roots in Jeunesses Musicales and decades of experience across the cultural field, we combine artistic insight with strategic expertise in communication, funding, and evaluation. Our work bridges the worlds of education, policy, and performance — building sustainable frameworks for growth, participation, and impact.

Rooted in artistic practice, educational knowledge, and deep professional understanding of leadership and audience engagement, we bring together strategy, creativity, and collaboration to strengthen music’s place in society

Our story / vision

Danzón was born from a shared journey that began in Jeunesses Musicales — an international community built on the belief that music connects people across generations and borders. That experience shaped our conviction that collaboration, creativity, and access are essential to the future of culture.

We saw a gap between schools, educators, and the professional music world, all sharing a mission, but rarely sharing processes or language. Our vision is to close that gap.

We support organizations in rethinking how they engage with learning, audiences, and communities — combining creativity with strategy, and tradition with innovation.

Because every child deserves the chance to explore, create, and belong through music
