A Local Opportunity
Especially at the local level, closer ties between schools, music schools, and orchestras could unlock richer learning journeys and more meaningful musical experiences for young people.
Bridging Worlds: Connecting Youth, Education, & Professional Music
Strengthening Youth Engagement with Music
Danzón is led by Asbjorn Keiding and Sabrina Solis. For years, Sabrina and Asbjørn have worked to engage children and young people in music as creative expression, a path to well-being, and a way to build community. Through their work with Jeunesse Musicales, they’ve seen the power of sharing music with the youth.
Bridging Education and the Professional Music World
With deep roots in both education and the professional music scene, they’ve long envisioned a stronger connection between schools, youth talent, and established music institutions. Though all share a role in outreach and education, true collaboration is still rare — and many synergies remain untapped.
A Shared Digital Platform
To help make that happen, we’ve partnered with a UK-based tech company behind a globally trusted music learning platform used by over 70,000 educators. Together, we’re launching a new digital space that connects schools, music schools, and orchestras — making it easier to share tools, knowledge, and create new collaborations across the musical ecosystem.
